Californian farmers worry about future loss amid U.S.-China trade dispute

Daniel Sumner, who leads the University of California-Davis’ Agricultural Issues Center, expressed similar concerns, saying if the U.S.-China trade standoff lasts too long, California exports could suffer long-term damage as the state will lose its reputation as a reliable source of agricultural products and end up benefiting U.S. competitors.”
